What is the Portable Power Press?
A portable 4-ton hydraulic press. It brings pressing force to the job — the shop, the garage, or out in the field — instead of making you haul the work to a stationary shop press.
How much force does it make?
4 tons of hydraulic pressing force. It's a portable 4-ton press, not a replacement for a 20-ton or 25-ton shop press.
What pump do I need?
Any common porta-power-style hand pump system with a hose. If you've got a porta-power setup, it connects right up.
Is the pump included?
No. A compatible hydraulic hand pump and hose are required and sold separately.
How close can it press?
The closest the press can close is 7 inches from the boot. The pin carriage slides on the pin shaft and locks at the height you need.
Can it replace my shop press?
No — and it's not trying to. It's another purpose-built tool for the jobs a big stationary press can't reach.
Is it really portable?
Yes. Around 4 inches wide with a tall, slim frame, it's made to carry to the work and set up on the spot.
How does ordering work?
We're running a special Christmas production run. Payment is charged when you order, and your press is reserved from that run.
